Daniel Brown received his Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Mr. Brown is admitted to practice in all California State Courts as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Eastern and Southern Districts of California.
Before founding Stansbury Brown Law, PC, Mr. Brown worked for an employment litigation boutique, where he successfully represented employees in wage and hour class actions, as well as individual wrongful termination and discrimination lawsuits.
Mr. Brown has received recognition for the high quality of his legal work, including being named a Super Lawyers’ Rising Star in 2019 and 2023. In addition, Mr. Brown was recognized by TopVerdict for being part of a team that secured one of the top 50 labor and employment law settlements in California in 2019.
Mr. Brown is also active in the California employment and consumer law community. He is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (“CAALA”) and the California Employment Lawyers Association (“CELA”) for which he serves on the CELA Wage and Hour Committee. Mr. Brown also participates in the CELA mentor program to provide mentorship and guidance to young attorneys interested in employment law.
From 2009 to 2012, Mr. Brown worked with the Democratic staff of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Education and the Workforce. As a Policy Associate, Mr. Brown managed a portfolio of labor issues, including wage theft, employee misclassification, FLSA, and NLRB regulation and oversight.
In his free time, Mr. Brown is an active runner and competes in marathons throughout North America.
